A Bulk carrier PERSENK with IMO No.: 9578995 and general cargo ship AHMET CAN was reportedly collided in Marmara sea yesterday 18 May, at about 1030 UTC .
According to the report, Both ships were heading to Dardanelles when they collided in area between Marmara island and port of Tekordag.

The incident report shows that both ships were seriously damaged. While MV Persenk turned to anchor at Tekordag around 1230 UTC after the collision, MV Ahmet Can was seen maintaining low speed while heading to Tekordag ship anchorage as well.
The Vessel AHMET CAN (IMO: 9368182, MMSI: 371734000) was built in 2006 and currently sailing under the flag of Panama, while PERSENK (IMO: 9578995, MMSI: 256350000) was built in 2010 and currently sailing under the flag of Malta.

All crews are safe and ship still afloat. At the time of writing this article, both ships are at anchorage for further investigation.
