To help fight crime in the maritime industry, The International Maritime Bureau (IMB) has provided a 24/7 contact hotline, which all seafarers can be able to reach at any time.
With the hotline it possible to provide information on criminal offenses in the maritime industry, including security threats.

All information received will be treated strictly confidentially and will be transferred to the appropriate authorities for action.
“Crime and safety in the maritime industry is worrying all of us, and with your help we can try to minimize these risks and help save lives and property,” says the IMB.
